PT. Jakarta International Container Terminal (“JICT”) organized a mangrove planting and coral reef restoration activity in collaboration with Dock School students in the Thousand Islands, Jakarta.
The event was held on 21st October 2024 and attended by the Board of Directors of JICT, employees, CEO and senior officials from PT. Hutchison Ports Indonesia.
This initiative was aimed at raising environmental awareness, promoting marine ecosystem preservation, and mitigating the impacts of climate change. By engaging younger generation in the process and fostering a sense of responsibility, JICT hopes to contribute to the long-term sustainability of Indonesia’s coastal and marine biodiversity.
