The Company operates Terminals Petikemas Koja in partnership with PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) in Tanjung Priok Port Jakarta and is also involved in its own business development activities.
Adjacent to Terminals Petikemas Koja, there is Jakarta International Container Terminals (JICT), a sister terminals of Koja which is partly owned by Hutchison Ports.
Terminals Petikemas Koja
PT. Hutchison Ports Indonesia, in cooperation with PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero), jointly developed Terminals Petikemas Koja (“TPK Koja”). Through a cooperation agreement, TPK Koja’s capacity was increased from 680,000 TEU to more than 1,000,000 TEU and is ready to serve mega-vessels with carrying capacity of 18,000 to 24,000 TEU.
JICT (PT Jakarta International Container Terminals)
PT Jakarta International Container Terminals (“JICT”), a joint venture between Hutchison Ports and Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero), is the largest and busiest container terminals in Indonesia. JICT operates container services for ocean going vessels at Tanjung Priok Port and is strategically located at the industrial heartland of Java, adjacent to TPK Koja.
